Moving a .com domain or other TLD (top level domain) is slightly more complicated than a .uk.
- Firstly you will need to login to your current registrar.
- Then unlock the Domain name ( this allows other people to request a transfer)
- Get an EEP code from your current registrar, and give it to us to show you have initiated the move
- We then start the transfer request, or you can do it through our customer centre (domain transfer)
- The administrator for the domain (you or your previous provider) will then get an email to their email address ( make sure this is live before you start the process) asking them to click a link to confirm the transfer.
- After the link is clicked and the transfer confirmed the transfer will take place, but could take up to 7 days.
