We do back up all our shared hosting accounts, so if the worst should happen our end and the server should break down, we are able to restore our clients accounts and websites to a new server.
We are however unable at present to restore individual websites, as our backups contain the whole server, not just your website.
We do provide an option in all our hosting account control panels to allow you to download a backup of your website to your computer in a .zip format.
We would advise you do this every time you alter your site, or regularly if you have a CMS or shopping cart which is continually updated.
If you have a database driven site you will also need to backup up the database as well as the files. this can be done through the databases icon also in your control panel.
